The Giant African Millipede



Facts: These millipedes are basically bigger version of the millipedes found in gardens, under logs, and on sidewalks. Should be kept in a 15x10x10 glass tank with a escape proof lid. The tank should be sprayed every other day with warm water to maintain humidity. They usually get their water from the food they eat. Should not be handled regularly because, if agitated they will secret a irritating liquid.

3 to 4 inches of peat moss and potting soil, kept moist.

The Emperor Scorpion



The Emperor Scorpion is a very large and hardy scorpion from tropical Africa. Handling these scorpions is not suggested because they do sting. The sting of this scorpion is not harmful to humans except if you are allergic. Do not put two scorpions in the same tank because it is possible that the weaker of the two may be eaten by the other. It is important to keep your scorpion away from direct UV light. Range

Diet
Babies eat pinhead crickets, and other small insects. Adults eat crickets, mealworms, other large insects, and an occasional pinkie mouse.

75 to 80%. Adults may drink from a shallow, wide water dish.
Housing
Adults can live in a 5 to 20-gallon tank
Substrate
3 to 4 inches of peat moss or potting soil.
Decor
Rocks, logs, cork bark, etc. make good hiding places. Moss can be added for floor cover, but leave some areas open for burrowing in the substrate.
